Independent

Tell-e Show is designed to work as a fully independent unit. Periodically it communicates with Tell-e Send to check for updates of checks for a Tell-e formatted USB stick in case of a Standalone configuration. Also Tell-e Show automatically connects to the information sources on the internet specified by you. Examples of the information sources can be the latest news of weather forecasts. All this information is buffered on the PC running Tell-e Show. Even when an internet connection is unavailable for longer periods of time Tell-e Show will function without any problem.

Stable

Stable software is of course always important. However for a digital signage application which purpose is to be seen by as many people as possible this is even more important. We are very much aware of this and have done everything possible to ensure that Tell-e Show is a stable application capable of running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The failing of an internet connection during a download, for example during the download of an update, has no influence whatsoever on the displaying of your presentations. Abruptly shutting down the PC running Tell-e Show is also no problem. After the PC has been restarted Tell-e Show determines which presentation to display according to its schedule and starts displaying it, with or without an internet connection.
