On Saturday the first of August 2009 the '42e Wielerspektakel van Steenwijk' took place. This annual cycle racing competition is one of the most famous ones in the Northern and Eastern parts of Holland. It is also the oldest professional cycle race in the Northern part of Holland. During the event there are not only different races but also other forms of entertainment like concerts.

The 'Wielerspektakel van Steenwijk' depends for a large part on sponsors. Therefore during this event the sponsor get exposure in different ways.
